Haunted attractions are entertainment venues designed to thrill and scare patrons. Most attractions are seasonal Halloween businesses. Origins of these paid scare venues are difficult to pinpoint, but it is generally accepted that they were first commonly used by the Junior Chamber International (Jaycees) for fundraising. They include haunted houses, corn mazes, and hayrides and the level of sophistication of the effects has risen as the industry has grown. Haunted attractions in the United States bring in an estimate $300–500 million each year, and draw some 400,000 customers, although press sources writing in 2005 speculated that the industry had reached its peak at that time.

Canada's Wonderland Halloween Haunt takes place on select nights in October beginning Friday October 3 - Friday October 31. Will you be brave enough to visit on one of the 12 nights?

Halloween Haunt takes over Canada's Wonderland for 12 terrifying nights. From 7:00pm till midnight on select nights in October, experience an amazing assortment of thrill rides along with horrifying mazes and creepy scare zones throughout the Park. Not recommended for children under 13. No costumes. Please note, Halloween Haunt is a special ticket event not covered by regular Canada's Wonderland admission or a Canada's Wonderland Season Pass.

Halloween Haunt Jobs

Halloween Haunt is an annual fall event at Canada's Wonderland that requires hundreds of additional part time associates to work evening shifts on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from October 3rd through October 31st. Specific jobs include Atmosphere Performers, Monster, Maze Attendant or Maze Usher. We are also hiring for our Halloween Haunt Technical team are now accepting applications online for these positions.
